Awards and recognition

Cap Vermell Grand Hotel receives Two MICHELIN Keys

An award that celebrates a way of understanding hospitality, attention to detail, and an experience that combines gastronomy, wellness, and golf in the Llevant of Mallorca.

Cap Vermell Grand Hotel celebrates a new chapter in its history with the achievement of Two MICHELIN Keys, a distinction that recognises the excellence of its hospitality offering and further establishes the resort as one of Mallorca’s leading luxury hotels.

Located in the Canyamel Valley, in the east of the island, Cap Vermell Grand Hotel has spent the past ten years building a distinctive identity around a simple idea: allowing every stay to unfold at an unhurried pace. A privileged setting, carefully curated gastronomy, wellbeing and proximity to some of the area’s leading golf courses come together in an experience designed to reveal a different way of enjoying Mallorca.

Two MICHELIN Keys: a recognition of excellence

The MICHELIN Keys distinguish hotels that offer exceptional hospitality experiences. For Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, receiving its second Key represents recognition of the journey so far and, above all, of the people who make the guest experience possible every day.

As Toni Mir, CEO of Cap Vermell Group, explains:

“Receiving our second MICHELIN Key is an extraordinary recognition for Cap Vermell Grand Hotel and for everyone who is part of this project. We are deeply grateful to the MICHELIN Guide for recognising our approach to hospitality, based on attention to detail, authenticity, anticipation and the creation of experiences that remain in our guests’ memories.”

The distinction carries even greater significance as it coincides with the hotel’s 10th anniversary, becoming a celebration of everyone who has contributed to shaping Cap Vermell Grand Hotel over the past decade.

Mallorca currently has seven hotels distinguished with Two MICHELIN Keys, further reinforcing the island’s position as one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality destinations.

Gastronomy with an identity of its own

Gastronomy lies at the heart of the Cap Vermell experience. VORO, Bravo and Villa Sofia offer three distinctive ways of approaching the table, united by exceptional produce, Mediterranean identity and the pleasure of taking time to enjoy every moment.

At VORO, chef Álvaro Salazar presents a culinary experience recognised with Two MICHELIN Stars and Three Repsol Suns. His tasting menu invites guests on a journey through the Mediterranean, shaped by produce, memories and a contemporary, deeply personal perspective.

At Bravo, The Art of Sharing takes centre stage. Spanish tapas, wines and cocktails revive the social pleasure of gathering around a table, sharing dishes and allowing conversation to set the pace.

Villa Sofia, meanwhile, invites guests to embrace Mallorcan evenings through the concept of Carpe Noctem. Mediterranean cuisine with an Italian soul, live music and dinners on the terrace create the perfect setting for couples to enjoy an evening beneath the island sky.

Discovering Mallorca from the golf course

Cap Vermell Grand Hotel’s location makes it easy to incorporate golf naturally into any stay. Four golf courses are located approximately ten minutes from the resort, making it possible to combine a day on the course with gastronomy, relaxation and wellbeing.

Here, the experience does not end at the final hole. After a morning on the course, the day can continue with a treatment at Serenitas Spa, an afternoon dedicated to relaxation or dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants.

Golf thus becomes the starting point for discovering the east of Mallorca from a different perspective, combining sport, landscape, gastronomy and moments of complete disconnection.

Ten years creating experiences that last

The arrival of the second MICHELIN Key coincides with a particularly significant milestone for Cap Vermell Grand Hotel: ten years of history.

A decade defined by the constant evolution of the guest experience and by a philosophy of hospitality rooted in personalised attention, authenticity and care for every detail.

Two MICHELIN Keys represent a new recognition of this journey, but also an invitation to continue evolving.

Because the greatest journeys are remembered not only for the places we visit, but for how they made us feel.
